Abstract

In this paper, a new algorithm for the numerical solution ofsemidifferential equations with constant coefficients and fractionalderivative defined in the Caputo sense is presented. The algorithmis obtained by using the spline collocation method. Moreover, a newtechnique for calculating the fractional derivative of the splinepolynomial is derived. Numerical examples are also presented to testand illustrate the method.
