Abstract

Characterizations of $β$ -connectedness and $\CalS$ -connectedness of topological spaces are investigated. Furtherresults concerning preservation of these connectedness-likeproperties under surjections are obtained. The paper completes ourprevious study [Z. Duszyński, {ıt On some concepts of weakconnectedness of topological spaces}, Acta Math. Hungar. {\bf 110}(2006), 81–90].
