Abstract

In this paper, we give a proof for Sehgal-Gusemantheorem of fixed point in rectangular $b$ -metric spaces. Our result is supported with a suitable example. As a corollary of our results, we obtain fixed point results ofcontraction mappings in $b$ -metric spaces.
