Abstract

The vertex-edge Wienerindex is a graph invariant defined as the sum of distances betweenvertices and edges of a graph. In this paper, we study therelation between the first and second vertex-edge Wiener indicesof thorn graph and its parent graph and examine several specialcases of the results. Results are applied to compute the first andsecond vertex-edge Wiener indices of thorn stars, Kragujevactrees, and dendrimers.
